OUR 2025 HOLIDAY POP-UP ARTISTS:
Lana Vosk (guest artist)
My paintings are inspired by my lifelong work with textiles. Playing with color combinations, geometric forms and lines and 3D illusion while celebrating the beauty of fiber stitches is what I enjoy the most. My paintings remind me of a human life - distant events become hardly remembered speckles, years are peppered with bright happy days and every single day or element creates a unique story. — Lana Vosk

Anne E. Terpstra Pottery (guest artist)
I’m a Chicago potter who throws functional and decorative work for the home and garden, drawing inspiration from mid-century forms and stained glass designs. I also love the contrast of glaze against clay body, and I explore this through a variety of tape resist lines that let the fired clay play against the surrounding glaze. — Anne Terpstra
Strong Wear
I make stylish and practical polar fleece hats that are warm, washable, amazing in the rain and have ear flaps that tuck up or pull down, there when you need them. I use the finest fleece, vintage buttons and ribbons, all gathered in my travels to make hats that work. That's Strong Wear. —Kate Strong
Jessy Laubis Handmade (guest artist)
I repurpose fabrics and sewing notions to create portable, soft sculptures, pillows & hangable works. Mostly thrifted or donated materials are manipulated by painting & drawing before they are arranged and sewn into, creature or accessory.. — Jessy Laubis
Judy Zeddies
My work takes an uncommon look at everyday objects. Whimsy and nostalgia mix with shape, color and texture to draw the viewer in to closely examine my work and the daily objects around them. The rhythm of repeated lines, overlapping patterns and colors intrigues me while pursuing the subtle balance of playfulness and precision. — Judy Zeddies
Rapt in Maille
My stainless steel jewelry is comprised of traditional chainmaille patterns that are often combined with various textures of chain. I have taken a medieval craft that was once purely utilitarian and adopted it for use as modern adornment with Art Deco, Victorian, punk, and glam rock influences. I weave, measure, cut, and assemble everything by hand. — Melissa Banks
Nature’s Trace Co (guest artist)
I started Nature's Trace Co., making soap with honey and beeswax from my hives on my Chicago micro-farm. My recipes are formulated to give you a hard, long lasting bar with great lather, nourishing ingredients, and gentle scents, all blended by me! To make soap that might remind you of wet rocks after rain, or the scent of a forest floor, a sweet summer garden, or a bonfire night. When you use Nature's Trace Soap, I hope it makes the ordinary a little extra-ordinary! — Rachel Sloan
Michelle Stroud Ceramics (guest artist)
I create ceramic vessels fired in a raku kiln I built myself. My process is experimental, embracing subtle changes in firing technique and materials to achieve strikingly dramatic results. While my forms may be familiar, the volatility of live fire and the raku process ensures that each piece is unique. — Michelle Stroud
Red Thread Sweater (guest artist)
I design one of a kind sweaters that are hand loomed in fine, natural, unique yarns. Great effort is given to selecting the yarn, buttons, trim color and other embellishments. Every season brings a new opportunity to try a new knitting technique, yarn and sweater shape. The possibilities are endless! — Sue Peterson
Kinaloon
Kinaloon makes original, hand silk-screened paper goods—cards, prints, wrapping paper, and notebooks. Barbara started Kinaloon with the idea that her paper goods would become art: every image on every product uses original artwork which is hand-drawn, inked on mylar, shot to screens and then silk-screened by Barbara. It’s exciting to see that people really respond to the paper goods and appreciate them for exactly what they are—art. — Barbara Raidl
